Award of frame contract for modifications on Gjøa
GDF SUEZ E&P Norge AS has, on behalf of the Gjøa license, awarded a frame contract for modifications on the Gjøa platform to Fabricom AS.
The contract was signed by Atle Sonesen, Managing Director of GDF SUEZ E&P Norge
and Jens Chr. Terjesen, Managing Director of Fabricom AS.
The contract will be used for modification work involving design basis changes and other major modifications. As such Fabricom AS will perform engineering, procurement and installation work for all disciplines.

The objective of the frame contract is to ensure that GDF SUEZ E&P Norge shall have access to a flexible and professional multidiscipline contractor for future modification work on Gjøa when needed.
The contract covers an initial period of 5 years with two optional periods of 2 years each (5 +2 +2 years).
Its value is estimated to 500 million NOK over the contract period.
