Statoil was operator during the development phase, and GDF SUEZ E&P Norge took over operations when production started in November 2010.

As part of the field development, a number of GDF SUEZ E&P Norge employees were integrated in the Statoil Gjøa project team. The main role of our personnel was to provide operational input into the design and to develop necessary systems, procedures and IT applications for the operations phase.
