Development concept

The Gjøa resources are developed with four 4-slot subsea templates and one satellite well, which is tied back to a semi-submersible production unit with full processing and export capabilities.

The reservoir has been developed with simple pressure depletion.

Stabilised oil is exported through a new 53-kilometre pipeline, which is connected to the TOR2 pipeline system going from the Troll C platform to the Mongstad crude oil terminal. Similarly, export of rich gas is sent through a new 130-kilometre pipeline tied into Britain's Flags pipeline system, ending up at the St. Fergus gas terminal in Scotland.
