Gjøa is one of the largest projects to be developed in Norway after Snøhvit and Ormen Lange. The field is being developed through a joint operatorship with Statoil.
Snøhvit is the first LNG project in Europe. The Snøhvit fields were discovered in 1984. GDF SUEZ E&P Norge joined the project in 2001 by acquiring a 12% interest from Statoil.
The Norwegain Sea is an important area for GDF SUEZ E&P Norge. We acquired a 20% interest in the Njord field upon entering Norway in 2001.
GDF SUEZ E&P Norge has many activities in the North Sea. In 2002, we acquired a 15% interest in the Fram field, which represents a key asset within our portfolio.
